Our baskets are handmade by us in Jasper, Ohio. We have designed our baskets to be strong, useable,
and affordable.
The baskets have a solid base and thick wood upspokes covered with maple, walnut, oak or cherry veneer.
They are woven with two strips of the veneer wood and have a nailed maple top and bottom rim. The handles are either
nailed or rivited in place. The handles are either wood or leather if the basket has handles.
Maple
wood is whitish in color naturally. Our Maple baskets are stained with a water based stain that is our own mixture.
The color is a slight yellow brown. The Maple baskets comes in the stain color only. Our baskets made of Cherry, Oak,
Walnut, or a combinations of the various woods are not stained. We finish these baskets with a clear finish to bring out the
beauty and luster of the wood
All of our baskets will blend well with the various woods in your home and mixing
our various series also look well together. I have all the various wood baskets in my home and I personally think they
add warmth, color and beauty to my home. We make many different styles of baskets, some of them you will see on the
web site and some of them can only be found on Ebay or at a show we are doing. We do many craft shows a year and it
is possible that one good show can deplete several different styles. Because every basket is handmade, we ask that you
remember if we do not have the basket in stock, it could take awhile to get it done. Since our baskets are handmade,
the sizes we have listed are approximate.
